Octagon to round with wedding band, barrel about 32” n bore has a good bit of taper to right at a full choke, has Birmingham on it but that’s about it, very light n well balanced

Killed at 8 feet. Spotted, formulated a plan and worked each squirrel for 3+ hours to kill with revolver in winter time with no cover other than the low sun at my back. Almost had 3 but I lost my patience and didn't wait till I got closer to the 3rd.

My idea for the picture afterwards really captured the outing I think.

Man, that is cool! I’ve thought about trying that with my revolvers but I can’t hit the ground with them lol. Great picture!!

Nice photo. Thats pretty amazing with a revolver!
 
To me closing the distance on your intended target, to get as close as you can is the best part of the hunt. But to take it with a side arm like that is awesome.

I would agree. Nothing better than watching a critter and keeping your distance while formulating a plan. The other wildlife you see is probably the best part to be honest. You learn a lot more about the forest when you slow down and limit your equipment.

With that said, I'd still like to get this new rifle I'm working on up and shooting so I can get out and knock a bunch meat off the limbs before season closes next month.
