Should have read to the end of the post before I answered.
I do believe that Ultra Hi (Miroku) made .44 cal Kentucky rifles and pistols back around the 60's -70's.
I’m thinking all the catalogs I used to drool over had .44s . But... there were the Navy Arms, Hawken ship,Dixie ect that got my attention and guns I thumbed past.
I use to drool over Navy arms, they had nice pictures.
Pedersoli target guns shoot the .433 balls.
They call them .45 cal, but they will NOT load a .450 ball.
I have a .437 mold, and it feeds my Pedersoli just fine.
Store bought .433's would make life a little easier.
I have two allegedly 45 caliber pistols. Both will only take a 440 ball with a lot of pounding. They both like 433s.
