Hey to the Gang,

came across one of those old Spanish or Belgian flint smooth bores this weekend.
lock is HUGE.. 6.5" x 1.25" and dirty/rusty. The barrel is 33.25" and is of 20 Guage.
the weird lil metal ramrod is only held onto the gun by its recess in the stock. Poor attempt at thimbles have one missing and the other rattling around the rod..

Figured if nothing else it might be re-done into a nice lil game getter? Anyone else ever have one of these or have worked on them?

Respect Always

Had a buddy with one of those, he redid the breechplug and tuned the lock and refaved the hammer, nice little gun

gotta try and clean the lock some and get the barrel out to check for markings? dang lil pin holding the barrel is tight , the fit being
assisted by the shrinkage. Too busy yesterday to muck with it..

Respect Always
