Does anyone know if the event is going to be held in 2021, and if so when?

Don't know about the Southern VT event, but the central NH event at the Pemi is on for February.

I just went to their web site yesterday; no 2021 information listed yet. Had a ball last year. Greg: snowshoes and muzzleloaders. About as much fun as you can have with your clothes on. Which you would need, as it was 6 degrees F. when we started, and warmed up into the 20s by the end of the day.

You walk the course on primitive (wooden) snow shoes.

I have tried to contact the event organizers using their contact page twice now but have had no response. The Pemi shoot is just too far for me to drive to for a day shoot.

Thanks for telling me about the snowshoes but I am a skier and I'd definitely like to combine skiing with a muzzleloader shoot.

I finally got a reply to my query. It seems that due to Covid concerns, there will be no event held in 2021. What a bummer. I really look forward to that event each year.

So an event, held outside, is "too dangerous?" Silly. I just came home from a ski resort, not 5 hours ago. SMH.
