SOLD Handmade, hand forged 8 1/2" blade of 01 carbon steel, about 2/3rds to 3/4 tang, rendition of Magua's Bear Knife, (so I am told) Last of the Mohicans. Hand carved Bear Head hardwood handle with nice pattern brass pins. A great period looking carving of a bears head with brass pins in the eyes. All purposely aged to look antique. Great primitive knife, blade is sharp, this is a user. Is 13 1/2" overall. Comes with a soft leather sheath with lace stitching, angled belt loupe for left side carry (could be modified easily), painted Native design. Would probably fit in 1700s-early 1800s period. I bought this off a fellow that I bought a rifle off of. I could not pass it up, but that was a few years back. Either way a unique period knife that would draw some conversation.
