Good Afternoon:
I have for sale an ASM 1847 Walker Colt in nice condition.
Marked "BH" -- Made in 1996
Lower right side of barrel marked "SM Black Powder Only Cal. 44 Made in Italy"
Underneath the loading lever is the serial number "E51471"
Above the wedge slot ""US" and "1847"
On the battle-scene-engraved cylinder "- Patent" and "Model USMR"
CCH on frame & loading lever is good
Finish on all the metal parts is good
Bore and cylinder chambers is good
Wood grips are in good condition
The only issue might be that it feels weird going into half cock -- like the bolt/trigger spring needs replacing.
One has been replaced, but a new one might be needed to get that crisp half-cock lockup.
It does go into half cock, but not as crisply as I like.
Oval bolt notches
Cylinder line
.454 round balls
9" barrel
Nice gun!
This is a heavy gun -- when I was younger, no problemo, but I'm 70 in a few weeks, and it's too much for me, which is why it's up for sale.
$375 picked up in Cleveland Ohio, or add$50 for Priority Mail, insured shipping to you or your FFL (If you live in a restricted state).
Howabout I pay 1/2 the shipping -- That drops shipping to $25
USPS Money Order or Bank Certified Check please.
No trades at this time
Thanks for looking
