Used to have a lot of pheasants around here, mighty tasty, mighty fun hunting them. I really do miss them, and the pursuit.

Same here Robby. Going pheasant hunting used to mean grabbing a few shells and walking the garden and sweet corn patch after milking was finished. Usually got enough for Sunday dinner in 20 minutes.
Now, I’d be lying to say that you could kill 3 in a weekend of hard hunting!

Hope you like them.
A gun was to hand when I photographed the above but I resisted with all my strength shooting any of them. It was difficult but I came through.
I have thousands of photos but don't want to swamp this place.

We really shouldn't be shooting something we're not eating. Many guys just blow something away then leave it there. Slobs.

We get deer born every year in the bush behind our place. We see the fawns almost daily in the yard all summer and sometimes for a year or two after that. Some get a little too friendly.... :)43015614-5423-4494-9696-D1703DE80698.jpeg
