Started working on my Bucks County LR again after a couple years of not doing a thing.....had more important issues to contend w/.

The work has slowed down a lot and not because of the layoff, but because of my failing eyesight. What formerly took an hour now takes 3 hrs. Just made a Mcap and filing the octagon on the front plate took awhile. Not complaining because at 86 I'm lucky doing this at all.

Pics shown below display a slight change to the combline....it didn't look just right. Carved a border around the TG, installed the Mcap and made a straight RR out of an ugly, bent stick.

It might be a good thing that the build has slowed down although I'm planning a Lancaster for the next build......Fred

what would take you 3 hours at 86 would take me 10 at 40.

This will be another nice one.

I have the pleasure of living near PA. I've hunted bucks county. That would be a fine arm welcomed any cold winter day in the forest out there.

Don't forget early readings are nice too........

Thanks for the kind words. Berks are nice LRs also. Presently build only Bucks County and Lancaster LRs. Below is the previous BC.....Fred
