I finally got around to replacing the hammer screw on my Uberti 1851 London Navy with the screw for the skeleton stock ....and it fits great

It will NOT fit a Pietta. The ad copy on Cimarrons site had once said Uberti or Pietta.....it's wrong. Neither of the supplied screws are threaded for a Pietta. I tried. The ad was since changed . It will not fit guns already cut for a stock.

It comes with a bigger screw that looks like it's for a Dragoon but no way is this fitting a Dragoon.

It feels good with this stock, it locks into your shoulder and your eye goes right to the sight notch.

Cimarron is sold out but I believe OpticsPlanet, Natchez and some Ebay sellers have some. These weren't very hot sellers for $150

The stock is not "historically correct " , it's based on the stock made for the Buntline sold by Cimarron but they look good anyway.

It shoulders nice and it obviously will not turn your revolver into a sniper rifle, but I can't wait to try this out to 100.

I have fired my Walkers off sandbags with my eye right up to the hammer, so I'm familiar with caps popping in my face. It's something to get used to but obviously, eye pro is a must.

When handling and BP fouling give the stock a matching patina to the gun, it will look great.

It seems like a natural companion to my Parker-Hale P53 with the checkered stock.

I bought one about a year ago but have not tried to fit it on anything yet. I know its not historically correct, but it looks too cool not to have.
It looks way cool, even if I rarely use it, it just looks neat on the .36 Navy

Most Uberti 1860s are cut for stocks , this is too narrow for a Dragoon or Walker frame and the stock itself probably wouldn't feel too good with anything above .36 anyway.

Was wondering how long it would take for someone to see the sarcasm in the SBR question. BP Arn best be careful joes Gestapo is watching.😉
