Okay, One more. I made this a few years ago and never hunted with it, that's the problem when you have too many of these, but a good problem, indeed. Been shooting it a lot lately, and blowing up milk jugs at fifty and one hundred off hand, so ........., ah well, we get so many permits I can use a different one for each deer  . .60cal, 48" bbl.

These are some gorgeous rifles, without a doubt. Forget the deer; I'd ALMOST be honored to get winged by one of these works of art. :hmm:

Use to, I didn't care for Jaegers. But in recent years I've come to think they are really nice guns. I've always loved the artistry shown on the pieces pictured in this thread.

Here is a cheapo rifle that I bought to bang around with.
CVA Mountain Stalker 50 Cal. 250 gr. LEE REAL BULLET sitting atop 80 grns of Goex 3f BP with a lubed wad. Shoots great. Going to use this one when it is nasty outside.
Named it "La Bastard" because it looks so NASTY.

Here is my rifle I built from a Haines style precarved stock. I mixed parts as I saw fit, so it is a bit unique. 54 caliber, Colerain swamped barrel shortened to 35 inches (so it would fit in airline rifle case,) Chambers deluxe Siler. It balances wonderfully.

Here's my .54 Tennessee rifle, "Zilpha", named after a historical lady in our family. She's got a 42" swamped GM barrel. Built for me by Roger Sells of Monterrey, TN.

Roger also made the hunting bag. She's accurate when I do my part
