2 of mine. Both .54 cal. one a underhammer the other a mule ear lock. One weighs 26.5 lbs and the other 28 lbs. Both barrels 48" long. I'll try to scare up pics of my flint log guns.

First is the .45 flint log gun. Built for a friend who passed away and I was able to buy it. 28# gun. 2nd is my 54 flintlock. 14# . We have a match here that is restricted to 14 # max guns so this one is a single use gun.

A chunk can be as simple or complex as your skills will allow. Should be adjustable up and down. Some just stack boards or plywood pcs. This one belongs to Colton, and is nice. Most will be some variation of this . Does not have to be this nice but folks like to impress. LOL.

That pictured "chunk" has me thinking of making one up for a bench shooting rest.

Never been to a chunk match but idiot that I am, woulda showed up with a chunk of firewood.
 
That's how it used to be. Just a log laid out to shoot from. BUT, as in most things men involve themselves in , it soon turns into "arms race" or gizmo collection.
