Anyone ever cut a barrel on one?

Thinking about cutting one of my .50’s off right behind the ramrod pipe. Leaves about 7” of barrel, but makes for an easier carrying and light pistol for doing pistol things at pistol ranges.

Any thoughts, opinions based on experience or just random musings?

I have had this thought myself with a Kentucky pistol, but can't quite bring myself to it. maybe later.
