I used to have a great "out the back door" range myself. Sadly no longer. Your shooting range is dream worthy.

I don't have to go far to shoot! This was taken from my back patio door.

Very cool, good for you, I'd love to have a similar set up.

48.5 miles round trip through city traffic most of the way for me. I used to go a minimum of two days a week. With today's gas prices I'm averaging one day a week.

I gave up finding a place to shoot in "the hills" some time ago, just after I had a Jeep load of punks with thier military type hardware pull up and take over my shooting spot. (I'm not any kind of anti- gunner but take issue with irresponsible and rude behavior especially when it comes to firearms.)

There was a time years ago on freer planet called Montana I was less than a mile from a range, could see it from my home, spent a lot of time there.

I'm blessed to be able to shoot in my back yard, I can shoot out to 100 yards right behind my house and have bullet traps set up at 50 yards for rimfire practice. Behind my shop I can shoot out 500 yards and have a trap set up at 25 yards that I practice offhand with my muzzleloader and bullseye revolver.

At present the range I belong to is something like 7-8 miles from my home. For me it's roughly a 12 minute drive. And I like it a lot.
