I have a TC Hawken serial # K90787. I wonder what year it is

i looked at the serial # on the new barrel for the .50hawkin that TC sent me in 1985 it's K1445##

I think part of the issue is that different models had different ranges, and I think different ranges depending on caliber within those models. And then you throw in kits, which are an additional range ( and different by model and caliber), etc.

It is plum cornfusing!

Interesting…looks like someone put a Renegade steel trigger guard on it (instead of the regular brass one). I like the case-hardened coloring.

The case-colored triggerguards were only on first year production Hawkens. There were only between 4 or 5 thousand of them.
