Attended the School of the Native in Indiana this past weekend. Had a great time. Took the Hail Gonne with to shoot for the kids on school day. We fired throughout the day and put about 15 rounds through on Friday. Kids loved it. Drafted a couple Dads to handle the linstock. They had bigger happy faces than their kids. Anyhow, all had fun. The Rose is now rubbed in oil and put away until next weekend for de Chartres Cannon School.

I think it is great that people (you and others) do this, it also sneaks in some "hands on" history lessons...

Can you provide a picture of "The Rose" for all to enjoy?

I want to see the pictures, too! Me! Me! :) And what is the School of the Native? ::
