This knife is made up with the Russell Green River blade. The scales are plum. The sheath is hand stitched of 5 oz veg tanned leather. This is not a new knife. I've used it for several seasons. It's in good condition. The knife and sheath have been there and done that so the sheath has some blood stains. These Green River blades are made of carbon steel and they do sharpen up very well and quickly. They are my favorite for handling big game in the field. This is one of my personal knives. I usually sell them after a few seasons and make others during the winter months.
