I dig mine out from the berms at the gun range where I'm a member. It's good enough for unmentionable firearms. I traded straight up for pure lead from another reloader.

Yeah, that evil lead mining! So why does every standard car battery (not EV) have a few pounds of it in there? You know, your Delco, AC, Interstate, etc.

Use to mine the outdoor backstops at my local club. Now when they clean the indoor pistol range it is cleaned and turned into ingots for $1 a pound.

I had plenty of the "lead sheaving" and it made great cast ball. It's gone now, so sad.
