In 2012 I purchased this partially built kit off of this forum. I placed it in the hands of Master Horner and gun builder Walter Mabry in Jackson Mississippi to finish building it. I took possession of this rifle in 2014 and since then it has proven to be an excellent hunting and competition rifle. It features an American Walnut stock, Colerain .62 caliber barrel, a Rifle Shoppe built lock, all the brass components are from rifle Shoppe castings. Also included are Rifle Shoppe provided accessory parts in the patch box, see pic. This rifle is a well used, well loved, and extremely well taken care of. The lock stock and barrel are in excellent condition. There are three barely noticeable fitting errors that came with the gun as purchased. The patchbox, the thumb piece, and the nose cap could have been fitted better but that all was done by the original owner. Asking price is $2575 (shipping and insurance included).

Rifle is fitted with a correct sling from Lawrence White (Shed Time Leatherworks in the UK)

Original coins in patch back include a 1793 Silver Shililng, a 1700 copper farthing, and an 1806 dated copper farthing.

Very nice!
I recently watched Cap and Ball use a similar rifle on his channel to take a Hungarian Roe deer. I believe he said it was a Baker.
