The lock functions ok. It has half cock as well as full cock. Not the strongest mainspring but it snaps caps. If I was going to shoot it a lot I might throw on a heavier spring.
What size ball?
thats a steal! To cheap IMO.

I used a .433 ball with an unknown thickness of patch over 15 gr of 3f. I have only shot this a couple times, buying it together with a couple revolvers. I never attempted targeting anything, just popped it off into the woods here. Its much too cold to be working up loads right now. I just wanted to make sure itd work.
