These are not suitable for use but as decoration only since it is made of cast iron instead of forged steel. They look great hanging on the wall and are great conversation pieces. I would consider trades for interesting handmade knives or a Polish brand capper. These tools would be suitable for working soil just not use on wood unless it was very soft wood.
