Got a dent in your copper and brass flasks?

It can be fixed easy enough with wood, screw driver, tape and a small hammer using a few simple steps...

First: Remove the powder... :winking:

Next: Remove the top of the flask with a screw driver or unscrewing it, depending on the type of flask you have...

Third: Using a shaped piece of hard wood held in a vise, stick it into the flask and position it at the dent...

Fourth: Tape the end of the hammer well to pad the striking face... Duct tape will do nicely...

Fifth: Using small taps, work the dent out by tapping the dented area between the hammer and the shaped piece of hard wood until smooth...

Last: Put the flask back together and refill it...

(It can get a little trucky around designs and contours, a small taped brass rod used as a drift will aid in these tight areas.)

Just a thought: Before trying this determine if the dent is in the large face panel or if it is over at the side of the flask.
If it is over by the side of the flask you must go Real Easy (or give up the idea) because almost all flasks are soldered where their halves come together and it is real easy to crack the solder bead. It is equally hard to solder the halves back together if it does crack.
