I have an early production TC Renegade .54 percussion. Will a .58 barrel from a TC Big Boar fit? Other than caliber, is there any difference between a Renegade and Big Boar?

Renegade barrel question

Help Support Muzzleloading Forum:
No problem putting the 58 Big Boar on the Renegade. I have done the same. The big boar barrel is 1" across the flats like all renegade barrels. The only thing you may have to do is shorten the under rib, but I didn't have to on my gun.

Any thing is possible here. Texas is a whole other country. Exception made for Austin.
