bump, keepin' hope alive!
Just saw this post. Might be old. There’s a Santa Barbara on GB right now. Was going to bid on it but they have a surprise shipping on it. And it has to be sent to an FFL. Which is not a problem except my FFL charges 25 bucks. To top that off there is a buyer fee and tax on the whole total. So I’m out.

That pistol has been on there for a couple of weeks and this is the second or third go around for it with no takers. I am sure that all the rigamarole attached to the sale is what stopped anyone from bidding on it. Rediculous all the fees that are attached to some of the transactions.
Yeah I bought one time with a "Actual Shipping Cost" and the person tacked 50 bucks to the total. We finally worked it out. I refused to pay the ridiculous shipping. They try to make up their fees on the shipping. Just like a lot do on ebay.

Agree. More and more are not listing the shipping cost but put buyer pays actual shipping cost. They can do whatever they want then. You are right they are jacking the shipping up to cover their fees and make more money at the buyers expense.
