Nipple or breech plug threads? Nipple is 12-28. There has been some debate on the breech plugs threads depending on date of manufacture. Suggest pulling and measuring.

Mine has 5/8 18 for the breech plug, but not all do. This is by memory which isn't always right.

Yeah. this one has sat so long, I will have to mll flats on the patent breech to get a grip on the plug.

I got lucky! years ago I bought a TC breach plug wrench. it did not fit the Hawkins. so into the drawer it went! 30 - 40 years go by, and I tried it? IT FITS THE SENECA!!!!! And the TPI DIA is 5/8 18!
