Honestly, the thread got people talking and that's what it was about. Let's not bicker or rib one another. Just remember that no matter what region we live in, we are all here on this forum because we have found a love for muzzle loading.

I only moved to Colorado in the early 2000's. I don't know much about the history here. I only know that I haven't heard it called "midwest' and that was the reasoning for my original thread. I wonder what was considered midwest in 1776?
 
I always thought it ironic states like Ohio and Michigan were the midwest when the geographic cent of the original 48 states is in Kansas. So goes how we name things. I guess I'll just keep thinking of Kansas and the places north and south of here as the Great Plains.
