I just read on the "other" forum that Reeves Goering has passed on. There is hardly a builder out there that hasn't used, or been aware of his products. He was a kindly man, and displayed at Dixon's every year. His efforts did a lot for the ML'ing community, and he will be sorely missed.

Thank You. Reeves was a walking library and could always be counted on to make sure your buttplate, guard, and other fittings were consistent with the school you were attempting to replicate. I will surely be aware of his absence. Godspeed Old Friend.

Visited with Reeves many times at Friendship. He had a wealth of knowledge. He will be missed.

Poor Reeves But he was old and had a good run. I still have some of his castings he certainly knew his mounts ..Don Getz yes a very likable fellow & I got on well with John. We all have our exits best we can do is 'soldier on'. Rudyard
