Well, got bit happy on the ole inter webs last night and now have to make room in the stable…..So here is a nice Remington new model army that I consider a shooter. Everything works perfect as it should all nipples are original and have been removed recently and are NOT stuck or seized. Bore is gain twist rifling and is good shape for age. Barrel and frame SN match 64170 also wood grip panels are marked with pencil and match the barrel and frame numbers. All roll marks and inspectors marks are clean and crisp. Gun functions and fires perfect and I shot it last weekend with 30gr 2f and a johnston and Dow bullet. No problems of any kind and shot 4 cylinders in a row no problem and was not binding or fowling up. Internal parts are in great shape and appears all original with the exception of the bolt / trigger spring which I replaced with a NOS spring from cabin creek I believe. Timing is great and lockup is nice and tight like it should! This will make a great original shooter and is a working and living piece of US history! I’m asking 1300 OBO PayPal F&F is preferred. I also have videos the action cycling at show proper function! Please let me know if you have any other questions or need more photos!

Best,
Mike

Maybe this is obvious to more experienced folks, but, is this a .44 caliber?

Good looking gun. Do you know if the finish been redone, or is it unmolested? Doesn’t appear to be much wear, but it could just be the lighting in your photographs. What serial number range is it in (not looking for all the numbers, just drop the last three digits)?

What area are you in? Be interested if it’s not too far away for cash
