Christmas Special! This rifle probably was made in the 1960s. The 42" browned .44 barrel has a 1:66ish twist and a sharp, mirror bright bore. No rust or corrosion. Just some age spots. It is .940 across flats. Lock is an antique marked MM MASLIN WARRANTED. Top of barrel engraved RICHARD AUGUSTINE. The stock is a rather plain Maple with little adornment, other than a brass patchbox and eight pointed star on cheekpiece. Very few handling marks. Fittings are brass. LOP is 13". Rifle weighs 9.5 lbs. Nice, solid well made and maintained rifle. $500 + Shipping.

Nice rifle. Looks like what I might be looking for. What size round ball does it use? 0.435? Just want to make sure I could get the proper size round ball mold. Sorry for the dumb questions, but I'm new to muzzleloading and this forum. Thanks, Charlie
