Sold elsewhere. This is a like new in box Pietta LeMat marketed by Navy Arms. Manufacturing date is 1987. It has a single .20 gauge shotgun barrel under the .44 caliber barrel makes the Lemat a unique firearm. N/SSA approved. Grips are checkered two piece European walnut. Metal parts are richly blued. The octagonal rifled barrel is 6 3/4" long. It is rifled with 7 lands and grooves. 1 in 30" twist. Dove tailed front sight and rear sight located on the hammer nose. Located beneath the rifled revolver barrel is a single .20 gauge smoothbore barrel. The hammer nose is rotated downard to strike a nipple for the smoothbore barrel. The cylinder is 9 shot .44 caliber. Hammer is color case hardened as is the trigger. Original "COL. LEMAT" markings are present on the barrel. The navy model has a plain triggerguard and spur type barrel selector and knurled pin barrel release. The exterior of box has minor wear, but foam insert is rotten. Revolver will need a good cleaning to remove foam granules. Will ship in pistol sock. Vintage cap and ball revolvers should be deep cleaned in any event. $1150 + Shipping.

I can find no date code or proofs on this LeMatt. It has a SN of either 600 or 009. Has CL 44 and BLACK POWDER ONLY ON ONE SIDE OF BARREL and NAVY ARMS CO RIDGEFIELD NJ USA on other side. SN is on bottom of frame. Other early LeMatts have it stamped on side of frame. Perhaps Navy Arms can illuminate the issue.

Ok, I appreciate your time. Trying to figure out what date these had the timing issue. I've had two that were off timing and hammer was also hitting too much to the left. I disassembled one and saw no way of correcting it. Both were pietta. Yours looks like the hammer is in the correct position. One of the good ones.
Again, I appreciate your time.

Navy Arms says 1987 production date. Timing is spot on with this one. I have cocked it, but don't want to put a ring on cylinder by doing this too much.
