Will consider trades + Cash. This is an excellent quality built, percussion Poor Boy style rifle set up for competition. It has a 42"x7/8" straight octagon barrel with excellent bore (greased). Twist is 166. Top of barrel engraved "WV MLA 1980 DW". There are two holes in top at breech for, I assume, a peep sight. The Tiger Maple stock has wonderful grain and practically glows with gold and greenish hues as you turn it under light. Butt has a grease hole. LOP is 13 1/4". Rifle is mounted with iron trigger guard and toe plate. Heel plate and nose cap carved from antler. No buttplate. It has double set triggers. The lock is stamped "201 over KWS" on inner side. Weighs just under 8 lbs. Information provided says the rifle was used to win the1983 IL state championship (Unconfirmed). $800 + Shipping

Possibly out of the West Virginia Muzzle Loading Association, established 1977. They might be able to ID it.
