t worry about the finish. Then buy some Laurel Mountain browning solution and brown the barrel. I have gone nuts with the stuff and started browning old shotgun barrels. They don't look like professional jobs with beautiful Damascus patterns, but they look cool nonetheless. Your Crocket barrel will look great browned.
