Well since my new rifle came in, my 13 year old son Jake decided that my Frontier rifle would become his. So we headed out this morning to make some smoke. Won't take him long and he'll be out shooting me soon!!

He did find himself getting decent groups with 70 grains. I had him work loads up starting from 60 grains of 3F to get him used to shooting. So now he is set on 70 grains of 3F, .010 patch and .490 PRB. He's already planning for this upcoming deer season!!!

Glad to see the youngsters getting involved. Good for both of you. Shore nuff quality time

So is the Frontier the new rifle?

He looks to be pretty calm on the bench.

Good times.

Very nice pictures and a great way to spend time together. Nice shooting too. I can't wait to see pictures of him smiling with deer taken with that Frontier rifle.
