This fine fellow, descendant of a Rev War veteran, went head-to-head against the Maryland AG because the state law defined muzzle loaders as "antique firearms" BUT the AG didn't like guns at all in schools, even antiques, so the AG kept having Mr. Boaze arrested although the law only forbade "firearms" and not "antique firearms" and it was a CLEAR definitional difference, so when Mr. Boaze went to give talks in a school he'd get arrested. THEN the local Assisstant State's Attorney prosecuting would drop the charges, so the AG's actions wouldn't create additional precedent..., a clear violation of the wording of the law (imho) by the AG to annoy a person who was following the law. :cursing:

A man with a passion for our History, who sought to share that passion with our young people. In doing so, he lived history and, in his own way, made it. He understood Freedom, and the Law, far better than did the AG who persecuted him.

We are truly diminished with his passing.
