I am working on a percussion rifle kit. The kit offered two drum styles. I bought the one that appeared to be recommended. See attached photo. I understand that I needed drill and tap hole for nipple and I bought the jig. I noticed that it doesn't have a clean out hole and it did not come with a screw. Does the end get cut off by a hack saw which would allow tapping a hole for a cleanout screw? I wish I would have chosen the style with the clean out screw already installed.
