Question for California Smoothbore Shooters?

My late Jan. hunting trip fell apart, so I began rolling around the idea of going to northern CA to hunt squirrels, when I remembered CA has a ban on lead shot.

Is that correct? And if so, what substitute do you fellas use for shot in your smoothies?

Both of these areas get a lot more people reading the posts and we have a lot of California hunters here on the forum.
