Love my Kibler colonial smoothbore but not the slop in the trigger guess that's not the right word it has a very nice trigger pull just floppy. So I fixed that and put in a take up adjustment screw. It now has the slightest little bit of movement, I wanted to make sure the trigger was not under any tension when fully cocked.. it turned out awesome.

Good idea, another fix is to weld or solder and extension on the top of the trigger lever and file to contact fit the sear arm at rest. I've also seen some folks add a little flat spring to keep the trigger from flopping.

That’s a good idea, I’ve added height to the trigger arm before, but using the screw is pretty neat.
