Are any of the currently available .50 pistols suitable for boring out to .54? I know some have breechplugs that make that problematic. With a .54 rifle, I like to keep things simple.

The Lyman Plains Pistol is made in 54cal so, even if I wanted to rebore a 50 for some reason rather than just buying one that would be my choice.

I can sometimes get a .50 real cheap with an auction lot. Therefore, my query. But I do like the Lyman Plains pistol kits. Also, I am looking for a flintlock.
