1. What lock?
2. Is your sear screw or other bridle screws too tight and interfering with the free motion of the sear?
3. Is the sear spring really pressing on the arm to force the nose up?
4. Is the fly installed correctly and allowing the sear nose to pop up?
 
Welcome. In addition to points 2, 3 and 4 above, another thing to check is wear on the half-cock notch on the tumbler. If worn, the notch may not always catch.
