I scrimshawed a black horn in China White one year, with a winter mountain scene complete with cougar and elk. Lost that horn in multiple moving processes and have never found it. Bummer ! I like the patina'd look of your horn.

Maybe try doing another horn- you can’t duplicate the lost one but you might make another that would ba as lovely!
 
I'll probably do another, but my eyes ain't what they used to be. I was in my twenties then, eyes great, hands steady and nimble. Not so much anymore. It may turn out like Neanderthal cave paintings. 🤪
