Does anyone have any pictures or information on making a pivoting style wooden patchbox? I know the sliding style is much more popular and was more common historically; and I have a lot of information on those, but I’ve not seen much on a pivoting box.
Thank you in advance for the help.

I see they have good instructions on their website thanks. I’m not sure I’m going with it but I’m pretty hung up on making one.

Do a search for Early Deep River or Deep River Carolina rifles. Swivel boxes were used in Randolph and Guilford county rifles. Bill Ivey's book has several in it. According to him, this feature was seen only on rifles originating in those counties.
