Never mind flintlocks, it is a powder that would fail to go of in my Renegade caplock. Trying that powder was the only time I ever had misfires with that gun.

Gene-contrary to what other's say I have had good luck shooting Pinnacle in ALL my flinters.I have even used it for pan powder,it is quite slow as prime powder.Pinnacle is not the same as Pioneer Powder,one major difference is contains real charcoal.Even my AH flint will shoot it just fine,Ignition is slower but it would get you by.Not telling you to use it,but if you had to,you could.Respectfully montanadan
