The Fall issue 2023 of Guns of the Old West, a quarterly magazine, has an interesting article about the modern Pietta company; those who post that they don't like Piettas should grab a copy and read up on the company. Interesting history, latest technology CNC machinery. Those that claim to bow down only to Uberti are wearing blinders. Another comment, if I may; Cimarron guns are indeed notched above run- of- the- mill replicas; those that post that they're just common off-the-line guns from Uberti or Pietta are plain wrong or have a bug in their bonnet about Cimarron. Just sayin'. (Those that are interested should go to the Cimarron site and view the comments of the owner.) Again, we're lucky that any company at all is making this stuff we love.
