Go on U tube and do a search for(1860 Army Snub Nose} You will find all you seek. I do have one,a real fun gun.

as always, the bits that usually break are the hand spring, trigger and bolt spring, and occasionally the hand or cylinder bolt (stop).

If you are clumsy like me, you may lose the barrel wedge or one of the screws.

internal parts can be found at cabelas, Pietta Replacement Black Powder Revolver Parts Kit
Item: IK-214052

screws & such at dixie or vti
an entire screw set from dixie is most economical http://www.dixiegunworks.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_434_435_440&products_id=15675

bear in mind the pietta internals and screws are all the same for any of the Colt 1851 or 1860 flavors.

hope this helps

I got mine from Taylors and I havent had a single problem yet. In fact it is quickly becoming the favorite of all my C&B revolvers. Well.. That and my 5.5 inch Remington. They are the two that actually see the most USE since I havent gotten around to any of the projects I have slated for all the others LOL...

I do intend to instal a cap post at some point, but so far I havent HAD any cap issues... Still, if you plan to carry it, especially for defense, then better safe then sorry. Other then that I dont look for any problems to arise that arnt typical of any colt.

I love mine so much that I intend to build a shooting "system" based on it, a 5.5 inch barrel, and a 12 inch barrel from a '51 carbine (they never made on for the '60) along with the standard '60 grip and a shoulder stock. All of it interchangeable.... Pietta colts are good like that :)
