I am looking for an Inexpensive 1858 Remington by Pietta or Uberti for a project. Would also be interested in just a barrel for a Pietta 1860 Army. If you have one let me know in a PM. Thanks

What kind of project? I have a pietta 1858 remington that I antiqued. Other than the finish on it, it's as made by pietta: complete, well shooting pistol.

Let me know if you want pics. I'm considering selling it.

Kozmo, How old is it? I need one made after 2004 so that it has the larger pawl/bolt stop. I want to shorten the barrel to 4" and install a .45 Colt conversion cylinder. Also, i am Not looking to spend a lot on it.
Remington 1858, Are the barrels for a newer Pietta 1860 Army?

Remington 1858. I sent you a PM yesterday. Did you receive it? Kozmo. What did you find out?

My 1858 is BZ marked. Should be 2005. I can send pics if you'd like. What are you looking to spend?

Thanks but i already found a barrel. But just in case, how much would you want for your '58?
