I bought this action and had wood turned to fit more than 20 years ago and have decided to pull the barrel and sell the action and stock set. This is a Pete Allen boxlock action that attaches to the stock via a throughbolt (included). Threads are 3/4-16. The tenon on the forend slides into a mortise in the front of the action, barrel channel inlet is 1-1/8" octagon. The action has tangs, so would allow the addition of a tang sight, and most of the rough casting has already been filed smooth. The wood is basically "as turned" by the duplicator, but has has some antique oil rubbed on to show the grain and color. This stock set was from my wood, and carved with the oval English cheekpiece with shadow line. The last photo includes the checkered steel buttplate I had intended to use. Replacement cost would be in excess of $400 + shipping. I'm asking $300 shipped in the USA.

Would a barrel need to match the configuration of your barrel or is there room to change it?

potential trade pending

forend is inlet 1-1/8" straight, so could be used as-is, inlet for a bigger barrel, or put wood back in for a smaller barrel
