I was looking at an old auction from Tennessee and came across this percussion/flintlock. Is a single barrel gun. I guess if you are out of caps use the flint? I have never seen a gun with both.
 
If the sear levers are in roughly the same place, the trigger lever will push the sear out of the full cock notch and the other lock being at rest won't operate. The trigger pull might be increased due to two sears being moved unless each trigger is for a different lock.
 
That is one odd piece. I'd like to know what's up with the sights.
