Another interesting estate find. A pair of the Pedersoli Remington Rider parlor pistols. These are representations of the rare Remington parlor pistols of which only 200 originals were made. They are 4.5mm or .177 cal and shoot round lead balls ( no steel BBs) or any .177 air gun pellet. They are powered by a #11 percusion cap only with no powder and are button rifled 1 in 18" twist.
One pistol is color case hardened and the other is silver finished and they are housed in Pedersoli's walnut case with two decorative Eley cap tins. They do not appear to have been fired and the only detraction is the silver pistol is missing the front sight which is a press in post and could be easily replaced. These are reported to be accurate out to about 20ft and somewhat powerful there is a youtube video showing one shooting a ball through a full soda can. Would make a really interesting display or for their original intended use as parlor (basement) pistols.
Dixie sells the individual pistols for $235 plus tax and shipping and Cherry's has them for $300 each the case is a $130 add on from Pedersoli.
I am asking $385 for the set plus shipping by priority mail anywhere in the Conus it is legal to ship to. Shipping likely will be around $15. Payment by postal money order or personal check with time to clear.
