I have two Pedersoli guns, a flint trade gun, and a Frontier .50 flint lock also. They both spark great and shoot good, but they have the ugly factory finish on them. Has anyone ever stripped and refinished one?
I just stripped and refinished a T/C Seneca and gave it a nice linseed oil finish, but T/C has a nice walnut stock, not sure about Pedersoli wood?

Finished, strip, sand and many coats of BLO sanded in. I am surprised fow much lighter the Pedersoli walnut stock is compared to the T/C American black walnut.

Would have chimed in before but didn’t see your original post. I did the same to my Pedersoli Pennsylvania flint last year. Hate the shinny finish, I sanded off the original and refinished with BLO with a little Turpentine mixed in. I was happy with the results. Your’s looks good.
