I have for sale an unfired example of Pedersoli's Missouri River Hawken with the curly maple stock. The date code on this indicates 2013. The rifle is unfired with hanging tag but does have a few tiny handling marks that you likely wouldn't notice and are too small to photograph.
The rifle weighs 9.5lbs, the barrel is browned and the balance of the metal is color case hardened. Barrel length is 30" LOP is 13.5" to the front trigger OAL is 46&7/8". The barrel is rifled with 6 grooves and a twist of 1/24. That rate of twist is ideal for the R.E.A.L. bullet conical for heavy hunting loads. Lighter target or small game loads are best with patched round ball, from experience in this caliber a .495rb and a .010 to .013 lubed muslin patch and charges from 40 to 60 grains are the way to go. There is a fallacy that fast twist barrels won't accurately shoot round ball. That is not the case as long as you keep your powder charges below a level that would cause a patched ball to strip the shallower rifling of a fast twist barrel.
This rifle retails new at Cherry's for $1365 before tax and shipping. I am asking $1085 which includes shipping anywhere in the CONUS it is legal to ship to. Payment by postal money order or personnel check with time to clear. IMG_0001.JPGIMG_0002.JPGIMG_0003.JPGIMG_0004.JPGIMG_0005.JPGIMG_0006.JPGIMG_0007.JPGIMG_0008.JPG
