I traded for this shotgun hoping to bird hunt but the knees gave out before I even shot it. It is new and never been fired I was told and I have not fired it either. No screw in chokes. I looked at the barrel for choke sizes and found #4 on one barrel and #8 on the other. No idea what that stands for.

Saw a post where Italian makers measure choke size in tenths. If your gun follows this then 4/10 = Modified and 8/10 = close to Full (9/10).

I'm pretty confident that sense it has screw in chokes, the barrels are chromed.

I emailed Pedersoli about the numbers on the barrel. They sent me a reply and asked that I send them a picture of the barrels to see more information. Maybe you could try to contact them with the pictures.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just sent pictures of the barrel and markings. I did find a page stating CP markings show date of 2016.

I received an e-mail from Pedersoli and the 4 states modified barrel and the 8 means full choke barrel.
